Use of emojis

I’ve still noticed that there are people who just won’t use emojis still. Do you use them, or if not, why don’t you?

I use them and I hope I don't use them in excess. They add a bit of fun to a thought but also helps to convey a bit more if you're mad or hurt or want to laugh.

It depends on what I'm typing out and who I'm sending it to I guess. Most of the time, I like to use emojis because it can sometimes help clear up a message and ensure the other person doesn't understand it differently to what you meant.

It is a growing trend, but with more and more people getting smartphones (since flip phones and older phones don't have actual emojis, but the convert things like "

" to a smile face instead), we'll see more and more. Seems like every year they are adding a ton of the emoji dictionary, which prompts more and more people to use them since they can agree to what they are.

I definitely use a fair few emojis. xD I feel that it adds a bit more personality and character to what you are saying to people. There are very few ways to convey emotion through text, and emojis help with that.
