I don't know about loud music, she plays the kind of stuff on the radio that I consider drivel. Our tastes in music have some areas of overlap so if we are both home and want music on there a few things we can both like. Aside from that she likes a lot of commercial pop music and I like just about anything that isn't mainstream.

Sometimes I don't mind the commercial pop. I can't take it for very long though because it becomes annoying. Yesterday I had opera cranked really loud and was singing along LOL
