Has anyone seen Greta yet? It sounds interesting but did the previews give it all away?

I hadn't heard of it but that trailer got me interested it looks like a really compelling thriller. I would like to see where they go with this. The older lady looks like she'd have an interesting backstory.
I am not sure if it actually made it to Australian theatres yet since I haven't been checking, but either way sounds like a good rent.

Me and my friend really wanted to see this but couldn't find it on anywhere in the cinemas here. :( I think we missed it now.

Yeah, I never got out to see it either. I'm hoping Netflix has it soon.

For free or for a charge? I never pay LOL I figure I pay enough for Prime that I just would rather wait for free movies.

the web site I went to said this
"A sweet, naïve young woman trying to make it on her own in New York City, Frances (Chloë Grace Moretz) doesn’t think twice about returning the handbag she finds on the subway to its rightful owner. That owner is Greta (Isabelle Huppert), an eccentric French piano teacher with a love for classical music and an aching loneliness. Having recently lost her mother, Frances quickly grows closer to widowed Greta. The two become fast friends — but Greta’s maternal charms begin to dissolve and grow increasingly disturbing as Frances discovers that nothing in Greta’s life is what it seems."

It almost sounds like some of the books Ruth Ware writes.
I haven't seen this movie and had never heard about it before seeing this thread
