33 scientist who study this field of observance suggest that there was a sudden change in octopi (squids and what not) that may have been caused by an alien virus/mutation (not of earth, such instant evolution change is unheard of)...at least that's my understanding of it.
lol indeed maybe life elsewhere is not so superior as 'alien astronaut theorist' suggest...
This and the tiny worm floating around Jupiter is no so exciting

Unheard of changes? Almost as if someone said "let there be wriggling things that wriggle in the sea"?

It sounds like scientists don't really know what happened and just came up with a theory, and the theory then got treated as if it were fact.
"Do what thou will shall be the whole of the law" - Aleister Crowley

"If you love me, obey my commandments" - Jesus Christ

The Bible comes as a complete package. If we want to pluck verses out of context so make them mean what we want them to mean, if we want to ignore the passages that are inconvenient to our outlook, we should be intellectually honest enough to throw our Bibles in the trash and admit we are following Crowley and not Christ.

The theory of evolution is yet a theory
The big bang theory is yet only a theory...
I understand why religion cannot be taught in school (because all religions would be taught in school) but they teach a public dogma and declare scientific "theory" as ultimate truth... which it is scientifically not!
"I don't have enough faith to be an atheist" -I forgot who said that but it's a true statement

I have a Ph.D. in physics and while not exactly in my field, I'm ITCHING to discuss that comment about the Big Band.... but I won't.

My sister has a Ph.D. in biology and while evolution is not her field, I'm ITCHING to say something there. But I won't.

Yes, THEORY doesn't mean "guess." Gravity is a theory. Light is a theory. Space/time is a theory.

IMO, schools SHOULD teach what is currently embraced. Otherwise, they can't teach that there are 8 planets or that rabbits are animals or that Washington was the first US president. Now, is it possible that what is taught TODAY will later not be taught because what is embraced as true has changed? Yup. Happens constantly. When you read any Science book, it's already wrong. Pity the age when we stop learning.

I'm against teaching religion as a true subject because I don't want Nancy Polosi decided what is true in Relgion. We'll get books full of relativeism, "I'm okay, your okay," murder of babies is a sacrament, "marriage" is any embrace of two that love each other so that Mary Lou and her Pekinese are "married." My denomination (the LCMS) exists in the USA because 3 boat loads of people FLIED Germany in 1847 as the government decided what schools could and could not teach about God, religion, morality, the Bible. They FLED to a country with religious freedom - including freedom FROM the state. God put PARENTS (especially FATHERS!) in charge of teaching religion to their kids, not to the secular state or some State Board of Education. Heck, I don't want them teaching my son their SICK, SICK ideas about sex, much less their HERETICAL ideas about God. I'll do it. Thank you very much.

      End of rants. LOL

I find the theories no threat to God if they are found to be true, so please scratch that itch!
