Winter fun?

What do you do in the winter for fun? I realize it's summer in the other part of the world...but think back to winter

Ironically, there is more snow in New Mexico and Arizona than we have here in the Twin Cities in Minnesota. It's supposed to be mid-forties today. Global warming....gonna take a walk in my flip-flops! [emoji41]

Isn't it hilarious? I have a friend out west who posted on Facebook that her donkeys were not thrilled with the snow! LOL

I do all I can to avoid the cold and especially snow.

If God had intended people to live in the cold, He would have covered us with thick fir. God intends us to live in places that are perpetual spring and summer.

I look at all those wintery Christmas cards and THANK GOD in heaven above that I'm not there.

God gave me air conditioning for the summer and I'm eternally grateful.

I don't do any winter sports except to go walking. My husband built a snowman for me last year after one of my surgeries. The neighborhood kids probably thought he was nuts LOL

Somewhere I have a full body snow suit. Assuming it still fits me (it should) and it hasn't been eaten by moths, I might make a snowman this year if we get enough snow. I like snow, except when I have to shovel it. This year maybe I'll get one of the electric snow throwers I've seen. The shape of the driveway is such that a full-on snow blower is unlikely to be of much use, but something that would throw a relatively small amount of snow across the width of the driveway could be really handy.

I like shoveling snow. It's great exercise. Except now we have a really long driveway so it's not as much fun anymore.

I'm waiting for a pretty snow fall. We haven't had any REAL snowfalls yet. We had a tiny coating that disappeared in an hour but not a nice half foot of it yet. Can't wait. We are supposed to get some snow in the next day or so I hear.

I'm hoping to invest in a camera package soon and take some beginner courses. I've no experience, but the mountains and valley scenery is just too much to ignore. I may not be able to invest until about March, but the interior of BC as well as some of the higher mountain passes should still have snow and I can practice getting some shots
