Can we no longer tag a thread as denomination specific? I have a discussion I'd like to start, not as an 'echo chamber', but to get some different Lutheran perspective.

Must the different perspective come from other Lutherans?

Well, it concerns Mary and some of the views shared by other Lutherans in the 'Sinless Mary' thread. I'd rather it not become too contentious

As I understand it, the "denomination specific" designation is so that only those of that denomination may participate. If you want different LUTHERAN perspectives, it would be appropriate to designate the discussion as for Lutherans.

Perhaps Lamm needs to weigh in....

That is correct, you could use the Lutheran tag to restrict it to only Lutherans.

Right, I just didn't see how to tag it that way

I THINK you simply do it in the title? Perhaps: "LUTHERANS ONLY: _______________"

There is a Prefix pull down menu to mark it as Lutherans Only...but it doesn't hurt to also place what Josiah suggested in the title because our Tapatalk users don't see prefixes like we do right away (I think that's right?).

Okay, I'm a little slow on the uptake here. Can you post a screen shot of that? I don't see it

Okay, that doesn't show up for me - I use Chrome, but just checked it with Edge. Same issue. I'll just put a note in the title for now and keep trying a few things. Thanks! :)

My browser offers two options: Solved or Added. I use firefox

How long has that been that way? We've had members use the prefixes before so something has changed.

I don't know. I don't think I've ever tried to create a denomination specific thread. I only tried because you noted that feature, one I had not known existed.

What I have seen are those putting the denominational limitation into the title of the thread. And notice, it's not always honored.

Those are the two options for THIS forum. Did you check for the Denomination forum?
