There are no real prizes and this is all for fun so please don't take offense. I have a list of the categories. Please copy and paste the list and underneath each category copy and paste a link to a member/thread/post that you feel is deserving of the win. Only vote once for each category and do it within one post in this thread or if you would prefer to do it by PM then you may send it to me through that. If you post in this thread with your votes, you have until the end of the voting period to edit your post with changes. You don't have to vote for every category.

In the case of a tie or unclear winner then staff will vote and choose for that category.

Here are the categories and please try to vote for threads/posts from 2018 if you can help it. Voting ends Friday, December 21, 2018:

*The thread that wouldn't die.

*The most derailed thread.

*The thread that made you go hmm.

*The most heartwarming thread.

*This thread needs a high five.

*Best drive by post.

*Top smiley member award.

*Longest post ever.

*The thread that shouldn't have been closed.

*Stupidest or silliest staff post (we won't be offended!).

*Most encouraging member award.

*The David award - for the member who takes down Goliath.

*The Saul award - for the member who turned into Mr. Grumpy.

*The Mary award - for the member who conceives good threads.

*The Joseph award - for the member with colorful posts.

*The Moses award - for the member who can part a thread with his bare hands.

*The Ruth award - for the member who has strength in the Lord.

*The Noah award - for the member who can pull members together in a crisis and keep them afloat.

*The End Times award - for the member who is the biggest thread killer.

*The member we wish was on staff award.

*Favorite Poll award.

Have fun!!

So for instance in the reward system I can quote a member and respond with the "so and so" awards?

I'm not sure I understand what you're asking.

You put your votes here in this thread only (or by PM to me). It might help to not do it through Tapatalk so you can copy and paste the link here.

Is there a way to attach a document to a PM? A copy and paste looked rather messy

You can post it in the Member Admin Center as a third option :)

Hmmm, maybe... you could create a member named "Award" so that when we have a spur of the moment award while already in the thread we could post *the such and such award @Award in that same thread. When it's time to tally it all up you could log into the Award account and see all the mentions at once (a temporary email could be used)....
Just a thought

I’ve had the idea of doing that.

Some of my thoughts (if I may.... not to "debate" but to share)

1. Frankly, it's not easy to come up with names for dozens of DIFFERENT awards. There are 30 or so folks here I appreciate, but singling out one for one award.... that's not something easy or fun (or maybe constructive) to do.

2. I could list posters I especially appreciate - but that would simply be a copy/paste of my "friends" list (as I assume it would be for everyone else). I think that making a big point of who is a good member of the community (and thus who is not) COULD be divisive.... We already have a bit of divisiveness; I'd rather see something that unites us.

3. The Website already has a "recognition" function. CH thanks and acknowledges certain posters for work well done. Even ranks them.... simply to thank. It's already in place, already up and running, updated daily. It seems few view it, so perhaps few care about this issue.

4. We already can "like" the post (and such is publicly noted) and we already can give a reputation to a given poster (although that's private and only shows up in the listing mentioned in point 3). That's already in place and often used.

Thank you for this website and for all you do for Him and us!!!!

Blessings on your Christmas celebration!

- Josiah

This is all just for fun and voting is not a requirement. If anyone finds any of the categories too harsh then just nominate me for those. I don't mind.

I can copy a URL using Tapatalk, so what you are suggesting is that I paste the URL here along with the award correct?

Voting ends Friday! Don't forget.

Remember that you don't have to vote for every category.
