How blessed are those whose way is blameless,
Who walk in the law of the Lord.
2 How blessed are those who observe His testimonies,
Who seek Him with all their heart.
Psalm 119:1-2

This was my quiet time verses today. I did a little digging to look at the meaning of some of these words.

Blessed means happiness or blessedness
Blameless is the transliterated word for complete, whole, entire, sound
walk means halak or to go, walk, come.
Law- towrah- law, direction, instruction
vs. 2 testimonies means 'edah- witness, it is always plural and always of laws as divine instruction
vs. 2 Seek- darash or to seek with care, to resort to, to consult or enquire of
vs. 2- observe- natsar- to guard, watch, watch over, keep, to preserve.

The psalm starts this psalm by sharing how truly blessed the person is who makes God's Word his or her guide. The person is not a passive person but one who seeks God and seeks instruction from him and consults with God by looking at his Word. This help complete the person and his integrity will guide him.
I noticed that the word observe has a quality to it that it preserves the person who observes the law. It seems to have a protective quality. In that, when we are walking in God's ways it keeps us away from sin and the consequences of sin.

Any thoughts that you all have about it?
