Summer is almost upon us.

I like to wear capris and tees or pretty blouses.

I usually wear tennis shoes, too, and sometimes sandals.

Since I am mostly home I wear capris and t-shirts but when I go out I have jean shorts/capris and blouses that I can wear. I'm not a dress person because where I used to live if women wore dresses they were asked if they were Baptist.

It depends on if I am leaving the house or not. If I'm just sitting around the house then warm up pants and a t shirt or shorts. Jean shorts and t shirt if I have to go somewhere other than work

I used to wear shorts but gained too much weight and don't feel I can now.

Yoga type stretchy shorts would work for you, Ruth! I love wearing those because it's so easy to clean the house in them and move around freely.

I am wearing some stretch capris right now, they're really comfortable, too. I am not sure what you mean by yoga shorts. Don't think I've seen them yet.

When I was a kid we guys ran the neighborhood all summer wearing only a pair of jeans no shirt or shoes.. Why not shorts I don't know, guess we thought it was thing to do back then. Being the seventies the bottom hems would get frayed which only added to the look :afro:
