Good question. If you mean by ethics what is right and wrong I would say that it is largely learned by culture. Although there are some obvious issues that most people would say are wrong such as don't lie, steal or murder

I think ethics are learned by parents, church, laws and also deep thought as one progresses in life and sees there are many, many things to give deep thought to

and contemplate what is truly right and what is truly wrong.
