Did anyone watch the Opening Ceremony of the Winter Olympics? Which sports are you looking forward to watching or keeping track of vaguely?

I will watch the events I started to watch the opening but to much talk about nothing really, I turned Walker Texas Ranger on but will watch events

The opening ceremonies have become less interesting as each host nation wants to outdo the previous ones in pizzazz.

Some of the events are still worth watching, though. It's unfortunate that NBC decides which events we are supposed to care about. Personally, I have little interest in the junk "sports," but NBC thinks we are supposed to really care about them.

I watched the opening ceremony for about five minutes and turned it off. i noticed the North Korean leaders sister was sitting in the same area as Mike Pence

Opening and closing ceremonies don't interest me.
I'm from Minnesota. Give me some hockey, women's and men's. NBCSN will have some of the less known sports, which I will watch.
Figure skating is on too much and I like more variety. I admire the athleticism of the sport, but all the artsy socially elite crap that comes with it is essentially why I also avoid the opening and closing ceremonies.

Fun to watch the US Womens Hockey Team play the Finns. Noora Raty, the Finnish goalie played for UMN in college. She is the best women's goalie in the world. I watched many of the US Women play at Ritter Arena in Mpls when they were in college.
