Hi Everyone! I've been doing some cleaning and laundry. It's so good to start getting these things done. A little bit at a time and it will be finished in a year....LOL..just joking...I'm not that slow! :)

Hey! I hope everyone has a most enjoyable weekend. I will go on my date tomorrow afternoon. Really am tired of this humid weather, though. I have the AC on nonstop and my bill was $102.00 for electric. I thought it would be more with all the AC I had used. I just feel awful when it's humid--crabby, tired, hopeless.

I feel horrible from heat and humidity too! We've been traveling for the past few days and it's good to be home but it's going to be hot here and we have to move my daughter's things from the truck into the house. That's going to be a sticky mess with the humidity.

I know what you mean. When I moved into this apartment 6 years ago the weather was the same. It was a nightmare!

Yes, I finally slept okay. They haven't been too bad the past week. I am going to put in an application for an apt. place for folks over 55 that takes my housing assistance. There are 4 on the waiting list there. It's in a nice area. Not far from here. I've just come back from a doctor appointment that I was worried about. The doctor was so very nice. I will make a post in the health section later. I still have more appointments with doctors to make. I am doing it at my pace. That's all I can do.

If I ever had to live in an apartment again or condo I'd definitely go the over 55 route!! We had children living above us for 2 months in an apartment and I couldn't handle it!

Plus our dog was alive at the time and it really caused her to be anxious. They had cats that would run around and it scared our dog to hear the pounding on our ceiling.

That must have been traumatic for your dog! The same thing causes me anxiety so I know how your dog must have felt. Sigh...

Saw the dr. today about my hurting knee. Got a nice booklet on knee exercises and stretches, a prescription for Naproxen.

Hi all. I'm really sick of this weather and can't walk as much as I'd like. The side
walk is too hot for the dog to walk on for one thing.
