Please Pray for My Brothers

They live in the LA area. The fires of CA have spread to LA and the Bel Air area. Those areas are close to both of my brothers. I just wrote them emails and hope to hear back from them.

I can't imagine living in a fire zone. I lost everything I had in a fire in 1985. Fires are horrible disasters, too!! Please pray they and their families will be okay. Thank you. Ruth

Dear heavenly Father, please bless and protect Ruths brothers with your presence and be their shelter and refuge and strength.

Please bless Ruth with your peace and assurance that you love her and will never leave her or forsake her, and even tho we dont always understand how things are being done, we know you, our loving God, are in control.

We pray for your intervention in this wildfire situation, for protection and renewal of life, and we look for you to do wonderful things, here and throughout eternity in the great and powerful name of Jesus.

We give you thanks that we can come to your throne of grace because Jesus paid our way in. Bless you , Lord. Amen, and God bless you, Ruth .

Thank you Snerfle. CA is a huge state and I'm not sure where the fires are in terms of close to my brothers now but they seem like they are in the area. I haven't heard from them yet. This is so scary!

Lord, grant safety to the people in areas threatened by fires and grant protection to their property too. And if any suffer loss then Lord let it be recoverable and let them find happiness in the aftermath when they have taken stock. Grant grace to all, good and cooperative insurance assessors and insurance companies willing to be generous. And for the uninsured, grant generous neighbours and friends and strangers so that none in the community will be left homeless and penniless.

Just heard from my one brother. He says he is in no danger that the fires are a few miles away yet. Said my other brother is more susceptable now.

I told the one I heard from to make a plan to leave after all the fires are close at a few miles! Thank you all for the prayers.

I heard on our morning news that our state was sending fire fighters and equipment down to help them fight their fires in California.

God is good.
Its good that we can go to His throne of grace bcs of Jesus, and trust Him with the outcome whatever it may be, but its extra good sometimes when we get the comforting response we were hoping for, in this case the safety of loved ones. Thank you, Jesus.
