Or maybe "Poor liddle Donald. He needs new words! big words. The best words and I have them. My words are the best words. Fantastic. #impeachDonald"

They'd become big friends.

If the Pope actually did it, most Catholics would consider every word to be wise beyond words--as they do with everything else Jorge says without the use of Twitter...and most Protestants would continue to think he's talking through his hat (or mitre) as usual. In other words, nothing special would come of it.

Would you respect him more? I don't use Twitter so I don't pay attention really to the tweets except to know a lot of people make a huge deal out of little things.

Nah, very few would. Hopefully none would. They'd likely impeach him - depose I suppose would be the technical term but since deposing a pope is in theory impossible they'd have to figure out some other method to remove him as a crazy man - and find a suitable replacement. Fortunately Francis doesn't tweet like Donald but he is inclined to occasional statements that need "clarification" which is somewhat regrettable. I kind of miss my German Shepherd. :)

Tweets are excellent distractions. The misdirect the press and the population to look at inconsequential things while some significant things happen without anybody taking sufficient notice.

Would his tweets be infallible? Spokesman for God and all...

Jorge could possibly be persuaded to retire, though.

How doing that is rationalized as being the will of God, considering that the politicking that goes into choosing a Pope in the first place is seen as simply part of the process by which God gets the man HE has chosen, is a question. Still, we know that a pope resigning doesn't seem to be received as any kind of theological problem.

Officially no. But many Catholics do seem to speak of his day to day utterances as if they were infallible.

Not if they were like Donald's tweets; they'd barely be coherent and certainly wouldn't be true and, of course, nothing that is not true can be infallible.

Like they're the only ones doing that. Try attack Luther or Calvin or some evangelical hero. I told an evangelical guy i had a nice preaching for him from Michael Brown. He said: Oh I only listen to preachers who are approved of by my church LOL and then it came:
like Creflo Dollar, Kenneth Copeland...
oh my, never mind.

Does he have to tweet it to be incoherent and false...[emoji41]

I'm pretty sure he's RC...[emoji2]

The pope is a Catholic. Donald is supposed to be a Presbyterian. A Calvinist chap, like you :)

He's probably Presbyterian USA, which means he denies the deity of Christ and just enjoys the social country club and message about humanism.

I dont know if he denies Christs Deity, but he isn't saved. We should pray for him. I heard em ask him. Have you ever confessed your sins? He babbled over it. He had no idea.

Yes, his actions are not consistent with being an adopted child of God.
