He's a USA Calvinist guy. Presbyterian I think. He's popular among Presbyterians. Something of a teacher.

Nope, that is not right. "The title Pontifex Maximus has for some centuries been used in inscriptions referring to the Popes, it has never been included in the official list of papal titles published in the Annuario Pontificio, which instead includes "Supreme Pontiff of the whole Church" (in Latin, Summus Pontifex Ecclesiae Universalis) as the fourth official title, the first being "Bishop of Rome." "
It's the same title as the Supreme Pagan priest in pagan Rome, MC. No matter how desperately you want your supreme leader to be Christ's spokesman on earth, he still holds the title of head pagan priest.

They should call pastors overseeers. Even church is a heathen word. It should be ecclesia.

The facts differ from your stated claims. It had nothing to do with Constantine and is not an official title but it is of Roman origin and was a title used by emperors and other high officials signifying their religious leadership. Need any more be written?

Other than the Bishop of Rome actively chose the title for himself?
Can you say..."Power grab"?!
