The holy scriptures tell us - reassuringly - that in the new heavens and new earth there will be neither crying nor pain and all that was bad will pass away. But what of your memories will they also pass away? Here is that the passage says: But we wait for what God has promised: new heavens and a new earth, where righteousness will be at home.
2 Peter 3:13
The LORD says, "I am making a new earth and new heavens. The events of the past will be completely forgotten.
Isaiah 65:17

What does “new heavens and a new earth” actually mean?

Who or what will be living in the new heavens?

Who or what will be living on the new earth?

How does this relate to people living in the spiritual heaven?

If there is no such interrelationship, why is it even mentioned?

Pedrito needs to ask this because he once heard in an Immersionist Bible Study, the following:

Once the heavens are dissolved in fire and the Earth is melted with fervent heat, those who survive will have the new heavens and Earth to dwell in.

By then, Pedrito knew that in that environment, it was better not to ask for statements like that to be clarified.
