Maybe the vice president could respond by impeaching the president?

I looked it up...

To oust a vice president requires a vote of the House and two-thirds vote in the Senate.

So No would be the answer as Bill said :)

Well, you can't. You are an Australian. Maybe you should focus on impeaching your Queen Liz (oh, right, you aren't permitted to do that). Of course, you don't have to re-elect her if you disapprove of her (oh, wait a minute, you aren't permitted to vote for or against her - or your PM).

AMERICAN citizens..... who are elected CONGRESSMAN..... are the only ones on the Planet Earth who have the authority to impeach a president of the USA. It's happened twice in US History, only once that he was then removed from office.

If endlessly posting "impeach him" had any effect he'd be gone by now :p

He's on a slippery slope now. Doomed he is, say I :)

You could always write to him and suggest he resign. You don't even need the full address, if you merely address your suggestion to "President Trump, The White House, Washington DC, USA" it will probably reach him. You never know, he might realise that a guy in Australia doesn't think he should be president and stand down. But I doubt it.

Oh please, God, no! Then we'd be stuck with Pence, an ultra-conservative with savvy. That would be a disaster for anyone who hopes for a more just society.

It's already a disaster? How so? I'm not aware of anything tipping into the sea, plagues of locusts o'er the land or the earth's gravity stopping and us all floating into space. From the way the presidential campaigns ran I'd have expected all those things to have happened this far into a Trump presidency.
