Currently simmering some turnip cubes in a simple sauce. Sauce consists of 2 parts onion powder to 1 part garlic. Some "Italian Herbs". Salt, liquid smoke, whole wheat flour, ketchup, soy sauce.

Homemade bread and chicken breast, dipped in onion salt. And home-brewed beer.

Aww. I love homemade rice krispie treats at picnics! Especially when they get hot and gooey!

Carrots pieces
Mushroom " "

gently in hot water, then mostly drained, adding in a little soy sauce, oil, honey

My meal contains no fried food, no bread that had to have nutrients added back in, contains veggies, retains nearly all the nutrition and definitely all the goodness of taste, while also giving me the best dollar value compared to the take-out equivalent.

I win. :p

I'm enjoying a delicious drink that tastes very very similar to Orange Julius type drinks that are/were available in the USA.

Pineapple and Oranges I picked up on sale for around 18cents/kilo. Dehydrated.

Dehydration cost around 80cents-1.60 for the entire lot of fruit.

The amount of fruit used, plus a little milk powder, plus some raw sugar and dehydration cost(for just this serving)...estimated cost maybe 50cents for one 1½ generous serving.

No waiting in line or feeling sorry for the employees having to wear those ridiculous outfits, either, lol.
