Right now, it's 100 degrees and 10% humidity. No wind. At about 4:00 PM.
Mind you, it gets over 100 3 or 4 times IN A DECADE here. Usually, it never tops 100 all year.
Someone here said it was 104 at 1:00.
It's an EXTREME "Santa Ana" a weather condition created by a strong high over the desert that pushes and compresses that dessert air west - down to the coast. Some areas get a lot of strong winds with this; here it just gets very hot and dry. But this is the most extreme it's been in years.
[Edit: Got to 106 today. The temp has reached triple digits only twice in the last 24 years, but we fell 2 degrees short of an all time record]
