Anything else with this, or it chalked up as a Chrome issue?

Yes, I think that since the users who had problems were Chrome users that it is a Chrome problem.

Must have been a glitch in their updates. There were a couple within the last week or so, and that's when the trouble started.

I tried diff browsers, that didnt seem to be the issue. It would happen in certain threads, at certain times, and I've been following to see if it's even possibly when certain users are on.
Or can it possibly something embedded in certain avatars, signatures, or some animated graphic somewhere that causes a browser to freeze up?
Looking into contacting some ppl who know about these things.
Staying tuned ... Thx, Lämm and ImDay2. :)

Could it be your antivirus working and causing the hang ups?

I'm wondering how your system is with memory?

I like edge, once they added something to block ads it became one of my go-to browsers. It's more stable than Chrome.

For me it just seems sluggish. The adblock didn't block some 'sponsored' ads at the top of my home page, and I find it easier to get to my book marks from Chrome. I'veliked it since I first tried it. 'Bing' as a search engine doesn't do much for me either. Guess I'm just a 'Google' kind of guy :)

I use duckduckgo for my searches on edge :)

I don't think it can be Chrome that's making it difficult.

Besides Snerfle, only Chrome users have been having problems on the site and that has been after recent updates on their software. We haven't changed anything that would affect users on our end.

Have you tried the Opera or Brave browser? They're small in size and Brave blocks ads if that is needed.

I am using FireFox under windows 7 and it works for me except for the scripture references and that is likely to be due to a security setting. I use high security settings. I like to feel safe even if I am not :)

Scripture reference doesn't work for me either and I'm on medium security. I haven't had much luck with other browsers and Chrome is what I use, so hopefully it will adjust. I have adblock and am a paying member so that shouldn't make a difference you would think.
