Went to physio yesterday and now can hardly move my leg so much for it helping. He seems to think if I can't do the exercises he wants me to do on my legs I might need an operation on my right knee but have to sort it out first.. getting worse

Sorry the physio is not helping and it's worse now. Have you tried compression sleeve on the knee? I bought one and it helped when my knee was acting up awhile back. I got the wrong size though. Make sure to get the right size. :) I hope you don't need surgery but sometimes it helps people a lot. I know a lady who got her knee replaced and she is doing much better now walking especially.

Are you supposed to ice and elevate it after therapy?

I hope he comes up with something that will help with the pain. I had to stop physical therapy years ago because of pain. Instead I got steroid block in my back several times and it helped immensely.

Ruth, I've heard of others who had better success with the steroid block. Jo, have they considered doing that for you?

Hiya honestly I've never heard of it. I have been back a few times and his changed things to make it easier which is sorta better but I'm waiting to go see my doctor to sort out pain meds for it then I go back and see my physio guy after 2 weeks and we go from there if my doctor agrees with what physio suggests.. but knowing my doctor I'm not holding my breath yet... thanks for coming in again.. c ya soon. Happy Thanksgiving to you all... In case I'm not back before it..

I ordered some bolar blade beef for roasting on or near Christmas. I have some slow-cooked pork in the freezer which I will, God willing, defrost and heat for Christmas day and have with roasted potatoes, carrots, onions, and perhaps some mashed sweet potato too.
