Do you believe that your faith community has a distinctive hermeneutic? A specific way of looking at the holy scriptures when interpreting them and teaching the doctrines of your faith?

As a Lutheran people tend to find our beliefs very alien! We don't lean toward works, tradition or me theology...it's all about Jesus and forgiveness pretty much.

I think that the majority would say the same of their faith community's hermeneutic.
