Not really.

Some years ago we were all going to die of SARS, then bird flu, then this, then that.

The media is very good at crying wolf. Most of the time I ignore most of it. Worrying about it won't change anything.

No, I don't worry. I live under the protection of God. He's bigger than any perceived threat like that...and tango is correct. The media tends to cry wolf a lot. They don't understand that they are fearmongers at best.

Since I am past the age of wanting children and dont think there is any danger of me having children so no I dont worry about that at all

I guess pregnant women should protect themselves from this virus somehow. Maybe stay in and have someone else do the shopping. I don't know really.

I'm sure they understand very well. If you assume the media is there to inform us then lots of things don't make sense. If you assume the media is there to sell their product then a lot of things make a lot more sense. Sensationalism sells - more people tune in to see the updates if they think they are going to be killed by something Very Nasty Indeed, than if they are told that everything is fine and just carry on as they are.
