Oh dear. God tells us to pray without ceasing...but none of us are perfect enough to do that! I talk with God throughout the day and I pray as I drive in my car for the people I see around me, whether it's the Amish in their buggies for their safety or a cyclist who needs to get off the roads (no shoulders on the roads here and they're curvy and hilly so it's not safe) or for an ambulance as it whizzes by. I can't count how much time I spend in prayer and I know it's never enough but I'm glad that He's always listening even when I just say Hello.

I think it varies. The truth is that I don't spend as much time as I should in prayer everyday. Some days I do very well and may spend an hour or more. Other days I spend very little and it is more like an ongoing conversation throughout the day, as I am driving usually or have a quiet moment.
